This website aims to give you an understanding of the basic teachings in the Bible, as well as providing links to current events which we think are connected to Bible prophecy.
We believe the Bible is the inspired Word of God. The Lord Jesus Christ prayed to His Father, "Thy word is truth" (John 17:17), and He was referring to what we know today as the Old Testament. Jesus taught about Himself, from the prophecies in the Hebrew Scriptures: the Law, the Prophets, and the Psalms (Luke 24:45). His teachings were confirmed and expounded by His disciples and the apostles, in the New Testament.
The theme of prophecy runs through the Bible from Genesis to Revelation. Our particular interest is in helping people learn how to recognize what is happening in current events today. Many of these prophecies relate to the future return of Jesus to this earth, when He will reign as the King in the Kingdom of God, in the land we know today as Israel.
One of the requirements that needed to be fulfilled before Jesus’ return was that the Jews would be returned to their ancient land. The State of Israel was born after World War II, and this is the most significant pointer in our age that the Bible is true, and that Jesus will return.
The end of Communism, the re-birth of Russian nationalism, the revival of the double-headed eagle as the symbol of Russia, and the formation of the Mediterranean Union (the revived Roman Empire) are also highly significant events.
"Behold ye among the heathen, and regard, and wonder marvelously: for I will work a work in your days which ye will not believe, though it be told you." Habakkuk 1:5 (KJV)
"Watch ye therefore: for ye know not when the master of the house cometh, at even, or at midnight, or at the cockcrowing, or in the morning." Mark 13:35 (KJV).
We do not know exactly when Jesus will return, but there are signs that His return could occur within our lifetime. What a wonderful prospect!
