"Top level Vatican official to discuss prospects of dialogue between Catholics and Orthodox with Patriarch Alexy">Top level Vatican official to discuss prospects of dialogue between Catholics and Orthodox with Patriarch Alexy" "Head of the Pontifical Council for Justice and Peace cardinal Renato Martino on a visit to Russia will meet Patriarch Alexy II of Moscow and All Russia and head of the Moscow Patriarchate department for external church relations Metropolitan Kirill of Smolensk and Kaliningrad on Tuesday.
Information centre of the Conference of the Catholic bishops of Russia informed Interfax that problems of Orthodox-Catholic dialogue would be discussed.
The cardinal is in St.Petersburg at present attending an international conference on the social doctrine of the Catholic Church. Reports at the forum will be delivered not only by catholics, but also by representatives of other confessions, including the orthodox and the lutherans."
