After attending Catholic Mass in St. Stephan's Cathedral, a ceremony was held in the Hofburg which included heads of state, members of national parliaments and other prominent guests.The ceremony was particularly an event with a clear message: "we want the enlargement of the European Union." These were the words of Walburga Douglas, youngest daughter of Otto von Habsburg and Secretary General to the Pan-European Union.
